Good morning Ladies and Gentlemen, children, and may I echo

our Chairman’s welcome to Old Pinewoodian Luke Lloyd Davies

and re-iterate how delighted I am that he has agreed to give away

our prizes today.

It has been another successful year at the top of the school and

scholarships have been awarded in every area of school life. I

would like to thank the academic team led by Ruth Hall as Director

of Education, Sam Downe as Director of Studies and Head of

Scholars, and Eleanor Lyon Taylor their Pastoral Tutor, also Laura

Smyth who oversees the Lower School curriculum, all our HoDs

and all those staff who have been involved in that journey. In many

areas individuals have gone the extra mile and worked tirelessly to

allow these children to fulfil their undoubted potential. Special

mention this year must go to Max Owen who was our out and out

winning Year 8 scholar on his award to Dauntsey’s.
